Soaring in Heavenly Places

Blessed in the heavenly places is just what I was...Ephesians 1:3 says...Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  under a blanket-like covering of love I saw him. He gives agape love by way of divine abundance that we might see his love as so much more than eros or phileo, but unconditional and precious love for his own, just as we are commanded to love ours.

He looked so pleasant and peaceful and entralled by the little one who played at his feet. So young, full of life, just having fun and possessed more than money could ever buy being there at his feet. Ah, Come, buy and eat without money...Abundance, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts,Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1-3

Such a beautiful place it was. The atmosphere of such peace and love in the Holy Spirit! Romans 14:17 says...for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.Cloudy, but not of disdain or even rain, but of peace and simplicity and his heart radiated to form a joyfilled smile. This was the setting. At the alter Jesus lounged so quaintly on the steps,  watching over the little one so nonchalantly. Behind him was what looked like a backdrop within the church,  the heavenly place in which I watched it all take place. White pillars were taller than eyes could see. A white palace you might call it, but a church I believe. I have seen this before. The child taking quick, stumbling steps around the place where Jesus lounged,  watching with the most incredibly precious smile ever, one that melts the heart of the believer longing in His presence. He watched intently, with care of what the child was endeavoring to do. A duck tail curl of hair around the back of the child's neck only added to the precious innocence of this little servant. Believing the child was washing Jesus's feet and how very precious a service Jesus knew this to be as he himself was seen blessed in His own eyes at what love and tender sweetness the child was doing for him. It was scripture fullfilled right there....“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives me. Matthew 18:3-5

I wrote about this a few years ago...that extravagant love incomparrable...Matthew 26:7 says...a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. I hear a song every time I read this verse. Amen. Singing glorious, glorious, wonderful Savior! Glory to His Name.

In All Sizes

A quietness envelopes my home this night though busyness prevails. Reflecting as I move about, going here and there. Chores, errands, wrapped packages array the table. If you didn't know differently one might have cause to think it was Christmastime. About the house this evening, tying up fragmented to-do lists. Never have liked clutter much...likened to the spiritual condition of the heart. If it is in your vise it can seem a daunting task to remove should it weigh down your heart. Procrastination and a host of others then set up camp. Such clutter has encompassed the body as a whole...envy, strife, debate, lovelessness ....oh, how my heart yearns for each one in this state, thinking of the lack I sense so unnecessary. Nevertheless, we pray. I could pray for days, relentless, unceasing, unending prayer. The depths of my soul longing, the deepest groaning for the healing of many. Jesus had that Lazarus shout deep inside of love. He wanted that man healed. He wanted others to believe. He wanted his friend back. He wanted to be obedient. He wanted to bring him forth. He wanted him to walk. Encountering a man in a meeting one night not so long ago I recall as I write, that Lazarus shout that felt like it was in my feet, roaring for this man to get up and out of that chair unneeded. Oh God let his faith come alive and walk!

Packages to be mailed out . And my son leaving the day after that to begin a new chapter. Bless Him Lord with his childhood dreams. Reawaken the generosity, playfulness and wisdom of his heart unto all the wonderment of life embedded deep within and the teach in his precious hands that has kept him forever young. May he reach all new heights and depths of love with getting to know you more. A blowing wind of great grace rest over him everywhere he steps I pray. Amen. The gifts are longing to be distributed… What is the church waiting on outside of word and spirit? Do we not know what we have in him? Seems if we had an ear to hear we'd realize the pianos of the spirit need tuning. Yes, I speak unto my self as well. Humility doesn't flow easily until encountering rocks in the stream. While wading through the sunshine often we step over something and view damns up ahead that are there in the natural but nevertheless moved by faith that the unseen realities be real in the spirit, in the heavenly places in Christ. God, help us to be keen of spirit in a sense of urgency. Oh, how he loves us…. Oh, how he loves us….Oh, how he loves!

I Am the Anointing

I am inspiration
Poured upon the heart
     A precious broken cup
     Love all bottled up
Fashioned in the moment
Spontaneous from above
I, both, see you and I know
With both knees I'm bowed low

I long to pour upon you
Words and songs of healing, too
Having hands made of the Father
That longs to be and do
Creative inspiration
Taking long to be
As wine ferments in bottles
Of days of old like me
I'll love you like no other
Fear grips one who doesn't know
Don't run my love; for I am free
It's what was done upon that tree

Let my hands just touch your heart
And bring you what you need
So much life to be granted
     From my abundant seed

Let me wash you with my glory
     And water of my word
I want  to serve you as I know
To be that blessing in the flow

     You'll see through crystal waters
     The wisdom from my love
     Praise of dawns pure light
So much joy and no more fight...Just love

          ...I am the Anointing!.

Oh Holy Place

Heavenly Places on Earth as it is in Heaven! Blessed. Chosen. Adopted. Forgiven and Redeemed!
Ephesians 1: 3-8....How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
