Soaring in Heavenly Places

Blessed in the heavenly places is just what I was...Ephesians 1:3 says...Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  under a blanket-like covering of love I saw him. He gives agape love by way of divine abundance that we might see his love as so much more than eros or phileo, but unconditional and precious love for his own, just as we are commanded to love ours.

He looked so pleasant and peaceful and entralled by the little one who played at his feet. So young, full of life, just having fun and possessed more than money could ever buy being there at his feet. Ah, Come, buy and eat without money...Abundance, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts,Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1-3

Such a beautiful place it was. The atmosphere of such peace and love in the Holy Spirit! Romans 14:17 says...for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.Cloudy, but not of disdain or even rain, but of peace and simplicity and his heart radiated to form a joyfilled smile. This was the setting. At the alter Jesus lounged so quaintly on the steps,  watching over the little one so nonchalantly. Behind him was what looked like a backdrop within the church,  the heavenly place in which I watched it all take place. White pillars were taller than eyes could see. A white palace you might call it, but a church I believe. I have seen this before. The child taking quick, stumbling steps around the place where Jesus lounged,  watching with the most incredibly precious smile ever, one that melts the heart of the believer longing in His presence. He watched intently, with care of what the child was endeavoring to do. A duck tail curl of hair around the back of the child's neck only added to the precious innocence of this little servant. Believing the child was washing Jesus's feet and how very precious a service Jesus knew this to be as he himself was seen blessed in His own eyes at what love and tender sweetness the child was doing for him. It was scripture fullfilled right there....“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives me. Matthew 18:3-5

I wrote about this a few years ago...that extravagant love incomparrable...Matthew 26:7 says...a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. I hear a song every time I read this verse. Amen. Singing glorious, glorious, wonderful Savior! Glory to His Name.
